This Tibetan style architecture, in the style of Lhasa's holy Potala Palace, has 300 elegantly decorated rooms. The decor is in the traditional Tibetan style, equipped with modern facilities. The spacious rooms feature wool carpets, private bathrooms with tub and shower, broadband internet access, satellite TV, in-house movies with CNN and HBO, etc.

Although this hotel is officially given a 5-star rating by Chinese tourism authorities, China Spree considers it somewhat over-rated.
