"Exceeding your expectation" is our promise...
China Spree Travel is proud to introduce an exciting new program of Affordable Luxury Tours of China in 2010. These very special tours are hardly "tours" at all, except that everything has been arranged for your comfort and enjoyment in advance and you will be helped and enlightened by the finest tour guides China has to offer. They have been designed for those accustomed to the very best, who want all the comforts of home…and then some. Pampering you all the way, our tours provide luxurious accommodation in China's most opulent hotels as well as gracious dining in its most outstanding restaurants.
China Spree's Affordable Luxury Tours also include many inspiring moments that you will remember and savor for years to come. Our tours have many exclusive features that are not generally available to the public. In the ancient capital of Xian you are invited to Xian History Museum where a curator will show and explain priceless works of art and will permit you to have a close-up look at some beautiful murals that are not normally on display. In the underground vault of the famous “Terra-cotta Warrior Army” you will have access to a special V.I.P. platform that offers close-up photographic opportunities of the Terra-cotta Warrior Legion. In Shanghai, Jewish tour participants will meet a scholar (one of many Jewish who currently resides in Shanghai) who will lead a walking tour and explain the history of Jewish life in Shanghai, pointing out buildings of interest like the many synagogues and the famous Peace Hotel on the Bund, which was built by the Sassoon family.
While hotel selection may not determine the success of a travel experience, we know that a great hotel can be the highlight of a trip...and we have chosen wonderful hotels for the Affordable Luxury Tours. Tour participants will stay in the luxurious Ritz Carlton hotels in Beijing and Shanghai and the equally-grand Shangri-La hotels in other cities. All provide a sumptuous American-style breakfast buffet every morning.
We strive to be the best and we know "Good" is always the enemy of "Great"...
Gastronomes agree that Chinese cuisine is one of the world's most refined and complex, but no U.S. tour operator has ever focused on the culinary arts of China. Their clients eat the same touristy food whether they've paid for a budget or luxury tour.
We guarantee that the dining experience on the Affordable Luxury Tours will be different and that each meal will be a gastronomic event. Over the last decade, China's culinary arts have been rediscovered in spectacular fashion and our tours reflect this. They feature the finest restaurants in the country—each one renowned for its distinctive culinary style and refined décor. Among the restaurant highlights in Beijing are Da Dong (Peking duck and northern delicacies), Ken de Rouge (Chinese fusion style) and Shanglinyuan (Imperial style). In Shanghai there will be superlative meals at Lu Bo Lang (Shanghai dim sum) and Kathleen 5 (Chinese fusion style). We believe that touring means a feast for the palate as well as for the eyes.
In past years, reviews of China Spree tours have been overwhelmingly complimentary and 70% of our tour participants have been referrals from happy former clients. In 2010, we invite you to join our distinctive Affordable Luxury Tours for a memorable experience different from all others. We promise that it will exceed your expectations.
